Cochin |
Cochin: Morning city tour
covering: Jewish Synagogue -
Built in 1568 the oldest synagogue
in the commonwealth stands,
adorned by hundreds of exquisite
hand - painted Chinese tiles
in blue & white. St. Francis
church Originally, built out
of wood in 1503 and thus earning
fame as the oldest European
church in India. Vasco de Gama
was buried there. Dutch Palace
- As you climb its stone steps,
you enter a different world
of Palanquins and heraldry,
jewels and rich murals. Roam
about in the cobbled streets,
you will love it. overnight

Munnar |
Cochin - Munnar: In the
morning, head towards a place
which is called as nature lover's
paradise Sprawling tea plantations.
Picture book's town. Winding
lanes filled with the heady
fragrance of fresh tea, all
1800m above the sea level.The
whole area is covered with tea
estates look like a green carpet
on earth. On arrival check in
to the hotel for overnight stay. |

Munnar |
Munnar: Munnar has the
highest peak in South India
- Anamudi - which towers over
2695m. An assortment of wild
life such as the Nilgiri Thar,
Nilgiri Langur, Sambhar, Gaur
and the lion tailed Macaque
are found in the rich tropical
forests around. Devikulam -
This serene hill township is
a nature lover's retreat. Trout
fishing on the Devikulam lake
is a major attraction. Eravikulam
National park - It is the best
place to see Nilgiri Thar, the
mountain goat of South India
.Evening to visit the local

Periyar |
Munnar - Periyar: Morning
depart by surface to Periyar
. on arrival check-in at the
hotel.
Thekkady, located in central
Kerala, is a popular hill station
and a wildlife centre. This
town, which is an important
plantation centre, conjures
up images of elephants, unending
chains of hills and spice scented
plantations. Periyar Forest
of Thekkady is one of the finest
wildlife reserves of India and
spread across the entire district
are picturesque plantations
and hill towns that hold immense
opportunities for treks and
mountain walks. The Periyar
Wildlife Sanctuary offers a
fairly good chance of seeing
the great Indian tiger in its
natural habitat.
Afternoon take game viewing
boat-ride on the Artificial
Periyar Lake. Amongst the animals
spotted here are wild elephants,
which can be seen and photographed
at close quarters, wild boar,
sambar, tier, leopard, wild
dog and languor monkeys. Dinner

Periyar - Kumarakom: Morning
after breakfast, 08.00am depart
by surface to Kumarakom to embark
houseboat for your backwater
cruise the best way to experience
Kerala villages. Today you will
go through the world famous
backwaters of Kerala. Enjoy
the typical Kerala cuisine.
Rest of the day and night in
